The easiest trophy transitional cardigan because I can’t wait for autumn. (And back to school - it’s been a long summer hols juggle!)

This has the perfect ribbed knit and statement gold buttons. Layer a white t-shirt underneath and let the collar peep through for contrast, then finish with wide legs, a classic tote and polished gold hoops. Also comes in black.

A weekend filled with birthday celebrations and plenty of sunshine. Reached for linen (for when the sun comes out) and a denim layer for the overcast spells - this up and down summer weather has my wardrobe working hard.

Unexpected hit: zebra print easy pull-on trousers. They feel like holiday when in reality I’m ferrying the kids around. Updating my denim jacket options with this boxy, cropped, of-the-moment shape.

Everyone knows that snooping in the make-up artists kit is the best part about being on set. ✨ BTS on our @mintvelvet Live Shopping, those leopard print jeans firmly on repeat and sis-in-law’s delicious summer plum cake (which I still need to get the recipe for).

This set is cut in the softest fabric, easiest shape and love that she went for a proper zip and button fasten rather than a stretch waist. The shirt is a really nice cropped length, again making it feel more day-to-night smart and less like PJ’s. As for the pattern? It’s like the perfect antique Persian carpet you can’t quite source, that vintage gem from the best stall at Portobello, with luxe earthy tones throughout. One of those interesting co-ords to have in the wardrobe and reach for all season

These are like my new joggers - only smarter and more fun. So comfortable too. @mintvelvet leopard print on repeat at the moment with linen shirts, tees, denim shirts, vests and summer knitwear.

There’s also a classic cigarette leg option. These are the cargo style - looser fit with cargo pockets.

The pink linen shirt is Zara, there’s so many great quality linen shirts available on the high street. A summer wardrobe essential, just keep it roomy, sizing up and make peace with the creases.
