Holding The Catwalk Snaps Hostage at Tom Ford
Tom Ford’s very hush hush show featured the likes of Beyonce and Julianne Moore as models (spot them in the picture above) and only 100 guests were invited to watch. Just one in house photographer, Terry Richardson, was permitted to take pictures. These photos won’t be released until 2011 when the collection goes on sale as Tom Ford attempts to go against the trend of ‘blanket coverage’ following fashion shows. He suggests that by the time the clothes actually reach the stores, they have already been over-exposed and become less desirable to customers. Very cloak and dagger. Fashion Editor does like something a little different. Go Tom! See the full story at Fashionologie now
Botanical Archive Raiding at Carolina Herrera

Carolina Herrera’s Eastern exotic medley, inspired by one of her steamstresses (she’s Korean) wedding photographs and prints of flowers from an 18th-century plant catalogue. Just beautiful.
The Details at Victoria Beckham

Mrs.Beckham has designed handbags for the first time (these may as well be branded with ‘sell out’) and the Brian Atwood heels the models wore were specifically dyed to match the metallic colour of Victoria’s rose gold Rolex watch, a birthday present from David. It’s all in the details.
The purple parachute dress was created when Victoria wrapped a metre and a half of fabric around herself, knotting it in the middle. She’s not afraid to get stuck in, that’s for sure!
