During a weekly Liberty London snoop this jewellery by Pamela Love stopped me in my tracks.  I hadn’t ever heard about Pamela Love before so I was compelled to Google her that very evening.  Good job I did.  I discovered that she is a New York jewellery designer, has collaborated with Marchesa and Zac Posen (who have both decorated recent runway collections with her jewels) and that a whole load of cool style bibles have already shot her pieces including Plastique, British Vogue, WWD, Tank, Teen Vogue, Numero, i-D and Another…  So it looks like I’ve been missing out.

I needed more info and luckily had a coffee appointment booked in with Liberty’s press officer Chloe and could pick her brains!  I now know that Pamela has a fascination with the darker side of nature (pieces on offer include a three talon claw cuff, menacing scorpion ring and eerie bird cranium pendant) and that she is an artist and a sculptor who uses organic metals to create her designs.
With a definite punk-tinge (I bet uber cool dresser Erin Wasson would love this) and price tags that are not too damaging, I’m labelling it dynamite jewellery…  Will make your outfit go BANG!
Eagle necklace, £270 and scorpion ring, £180 by Pamela Love stocked exclusively at Liberty London.
