Lainey PR’s New Designer Terexov

I was supposed to put this up on Wednesday evening…  How on earth is it Friday already?

So Wednesday’s highlight was a trip to Lainey PR’s showroom to see her new signing, Alexander Terekhov.  Now I love visiting Lainey’s showroom because a) it’s in the cutest little mews in west London b) she always burns sweet smelling Jo Malone candles that are just SO inviting c) they feed you delicious things, this time Blinis cocktails (above) and d) they always introduce me to an exciting new label.  This time it’s Terexov by Alexander Terekhov.

Already showing on the catwalk in New York, Alexander is a graduate of the Institute of Fashion and Design in Moscow.  He won an award which resulted in him training at Yves Saint Laurent in Paris so big fashion cred there and the new a/w09 collection is simply stunning.  Lots of embellishment, the softest leather ever and statement prints.  I particularly loved the bird detail necklines.  The turquoise version (with white birds)  is floor-length and very Nicole Richie.  It’ll look great worn with hobo jewellery, my choice would be lots of gold.  One of the Lainey PR girls, the lovely Vanessa Howard models the black top version…  She looks super cute in it with that fury gilet over the top!

Plus…  How beautiful is Alexander?  29, straight, a designer – it’ s a miracle!
