I’ve been meaning to check out the Hermes scarf and tie shop that’s in Liberty right now ever since it launched back in early September. Finally, I made it at the weekend and all I can say is that I was blow away by the colourful array of Hermes scarves on offer. The high level of decoration that has gone into making the area look special is unreal – walls of tied scarves, horse heads and a sewing/needlework counter. Shop girls are there to teach customers how to tie the scarves in different ways so that you get the most out of your investment and it really is like walking into an jumbo dressing up box. Such fun! I had to refrain from touching and trying on all of the styles. It was the exclusive Hermes for Liberty (Hermes Pour Liberty if we’re being precise) styles that really hit the spot though. Surely the ultimate hook up uniting two of the most iconic, heritage driven fashion brands?
