Wish You Were Here at Carnaby Street’s Newburgh Quarter is a transatlantic swap between 15 indie shops and small brands from London and 12 from the Lower East Side in New York. Pop-up shopping at its very best, last month Beyond The Valley and others set up shop over in the States and it was a huge success. For the whole of October, it’s London’s turn with two pop up spaces in the Newburgh Quarter housing the best of New York’s boutiques. Small designers getting noticed on a global scale, it’s such a great initiative. Thanks to Sister PR for picking me up in a NY style yellow cab (well, sort of, it’s really just a spray painted London one!)
